This is Anne, she is my best friend. She is also my Valentine. I cannot imagine what I have done to deserve her, and she has changed my life in ways that I never could have imagined when we met.
The first time that I realized that I could not imagine being without her, she went to see her family in Idaho. She was gone only 24 hours when it hit me, she had to be around forever. I immediately got a ring, and a few months later – I proposed in one of the most random places ever – a ruined pirate tower in Nassau. I was so nervous that I forgot to get on my knees, but in all fairness – it was gravel.
Anne is also a great mother to our “children.” Ok, so they are not humans, but the doggies all love her. This is them this morning letting me know to say “Happy Valentine’s Day Mommy!”
She has been such a huge addition to my life. In a lot of ways, she was what I needed, even before I knew I needed it. She has achieved so much in the last handful of years that I cannot wait to see what she does next. I love this girl.
